Class Assistant Level 1
A 15-week paid internship opportunity allows you to get paid to go to class. You have to go to class, right? Might as well get paid to do it! All you have to do is take great notes and share class information with the Study Experts for your course.

Door Manager
A part-time job position at the Study Edge building in Gainesville, FL assisting with operations, customer service and sales. This position is perfect for someone who wants to utilize his or her leadership and interpersonal skills while gaining valuable professional experience.

Marketing Manager
This part-time, paid position presents a fun and fulfilling way to gain experience in the marketing and public relations fields. It’s critical that applicants be intelligent, organized, personable on the phone and in-person, able to think on their feet and lead others. This position is perfect for someone who wants to utilize his or her leadership and creative skills as you will be managing a small team to help with marketing efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a group of 20+ part time students and marketing interns
- Implement/execute/improve Study Edge’s marketing/PR plan
- Weekly meetings to discuss resources, goals, execution, and new ideas
- Manage marketing/PR budget
- Assist with social media presence and interaction
- Meet with student-organizations and other campus leaders
- 25-30 hours per week

Marketing Internship

Instructor (All Subject Areas)
Our business is expanding rapidly and as a result we are looking to increase our faculty to enable us to meet market demand. We are looking for full-time and part-time instructors in the Gainesville, FL area.
Our company offers supplemental instruction for college students across the United States. Instructors must have a strong desire to learn — our instructors often teach the same subject across multiple campuses, and as such will often find they must approach material in new and interesting ways. It’s critical that instructors be intelligent and able to think on their feet. Equally critical is an engaging personality — instructors must be enthusiastic about teaching and passionate about their subject area. We are a teaching organization that prides itself on our outstanding ability to engage students.
We utilize a blended delivery method that combines live teaching in front of large and small groups, in addition to on-demand asynchronous video instruction. The ideal candidate will enjoy creating curriculum (lecture, practice problems, solutions, etc.), working with students, be comfortable both in front of large groups and on camera, and exploring new ways to teach effectively utilizing technology.

During the application process instructors will be asked to deliver sample lectures live and in our studios for online instruction. All new instructors will receive in-house training. Web Developer

Real Life 101 Internship
The Real Life 101 Internship is an internship program available to 15 UF students, from any class or major. You’ll get real-world work experience in a professional environment to prepare for life after college. This internship provides college students with exciting and engaging opportunities to develop new skills and see first-hand how a company is run – from balancing a budget to leasing your first building.
You’ll spend 1.5-2 hours per week in a discussion about a business-related topic. Additionally, you’ll spend 2-3 hours a week working on various tasks including: company operations, meeting with other business leaders in town, or volunteering in the community (including working with local charities, or as a participant in educational research studies). Each member of the internship program will be assigned a semester-long project in a field such as marketing, operations, technology, research, or with one of Study Edge’s related companies: Tutor Matching Service, Algebra Nation, or the GINsystem.
You can receive up to two (2) college credits through the University of Florida Honors Program (even if you aren’t in the Honors Program). After completing the program, you will receive preference when Study Edge is hiring for part-time and full-time positions. The students who really put in the extra effort will receive a small semester stipend ($300 plus a free Study Edge Gold membership).
Study Edge Internship for Non-UF Students
The Study Edge Internship is available to college students across the country outside of the University of Florida, from any class or major. This paid internship provides college students with exciting and engaging opportunities to develop new professional skills and hands-on experience using new professional programs. You’ll gain real-world work experience in marketing, sales, social media, and account management. The internship will strengthen your communication and time management skills by using business tools like Slack, Zoom and G Suite (Google Business Apps) which businesses across the country use with their employees.
You can make your own schedule and work anywhere from 2-10 hours/week on average. A minimum of 2 hours is required – one hour is the Internship team video call and one hour is for meeting with student groups/Greek chapters on campus to secure partnerships.
You will receive a free Study Edge membership and a base pay per hour plus potential bonuses for great work. After completing the internship, you will receive preference when Study Edge is hiring for part-time and full-time positions.
